Have you been on a plane lately?
If you’ve traveled recently and stayed in a hotel, one of these things has happened to you.
You had to pour your shampoo and conditioner from your big plastic bottle at home into a little travel size plastic bottle, and then put those bottles into a plastic bag. When you went through security, you had take that bag out and put it in the bin with your shoes and jacket.
You didn’t bring your shampoo and conditioner. When you arrived at the hotel you had to use the provided products which either came in tiny, disposable plastic bottles or bigger dispensers on the wall. The ingredients in those provided amenities are not the best, they are the cheapest. Your hair probably looked either dry and frizzy from the sulfates, or limp and greasy from the heavy silicones.
You packed shampoo and conditioner in your suitcase, and when you arrived at your destination one had burst or the lid came off. Hopefully you put it all in a plastic bag, but now you have a big mess in your suitcase, no hair products left, and yet another plastic bag to throw away.
